A new Chinese place opened up in an old town I lived in. Standard, basic, American Chinese food joint [though they served complimentary hot green tea to walk-in for the 1st couple months]. Served the same standard menu as all the basic places, probably from the same supplier. I remember when I got my first order from there [Lo Mein, always] & I was a little put off because there was charring on my noodles. I just couldn't get over the fact that they burnt my food. Then I took a bite. I have been chasing that Lo Mein ever since.
