I dig to live lol🙂🖐️🇨🇦
You makin boathouse space lol
That pipe is about as solid as air conditioning conduit....
The pond looks like it's for storing chemical or fuel spills from the road drains.I bet it's toxic.
They need to replace metal pipe with the plastic it works good and wont rot/ rust
cool vids and also, nice dirt.nothing but rock here
Can almost see what you are digging for. Camera location could be improved!
hey chris is there a second part to this
Id say it will be a trilogy
You have manually regen it ? My CAT grader it’s a auto feature and it never loses power was just wondering how works on your machine I enjoy your videos..
und jetzt weiß er nicht mehr weiter ?????
In 2000 I sat in a court room watching a civil trial between a golf course and a municipal water/sewer utility. The golf course was in a valley and had a sewer pipe go under ground over one hill under the course then back over the other side. The pipe was made of concrete and steel. Over the period of 5 years the pipe ruptured 3 times. Filling the course with sewage and spoiling the pond. Turned out what cause the pipe failure was a pump was sucking air and allowed small air bubbles enter the pipe. These bubbles reacted with the sewage and concrete to create an acid that cut through the concrete and steel causing the failure. It was a pretty interesting case and how one unknown could baffle engineers for years.
Question from an unknowing fan... to your right there's three indicators (white on black). I don't ever seem to see them move. Do they?
is regeneration on a CAT like regen on one ton trucks where it burns up all that crap and dumps it into the crankcase? and then you have to replace the DPF every 3rd or 4th cycle at a prohibitive cost?
these are the jobs you go to for a week and stay for 6 months. i can see you back on this job in a year or 2 if they are only willing to replace the bad sections
Please come check out my (git up) dance video. Much love fam
looks like the pond needs cleaning out.Next job?
Chris I would love to see a uncut version of this
I've seen you pick up a Sonic cup and not break it. That pipe is in bad shape
What a fucking madlad boys
What is the typical service life of steel culvert? (large diameter)
last 12 months of rain has been unreal. (N. Ohio)
What do they do in that building? Might be some kind of factory releasing acidic chemicals.
You've probably been asked this a thousand times, but where are you located?
Hey chris. I love your videos. I am a Volvo mechanic for 20 years. How many hours on your 220? The arm bushings are very loose. I hope a lot of hours. I think it needs more grease.
very good job.
You always make it look so effortless.... maybe you could do a video on the digger controls....
He has one
Maybe 60 inch concrete pipe in your future.
dang man this vijeo started with the excuses lmao
Chris great job. My husband watches all your videos . He is an heavy equipment operator . Last year he had a heart attack and a month later had a stroke so he can't go back to doing that anymore . But watching you puts a smile on his face . Thanks for sharing your adventures
Looks like some inferior materials were used to make that pipe not enough galvanization coating . That or there is a lot of acid in the soil to eat that metal up like that. I think you are in a for a big job. That second joint don't look too bad. That pipe should be stamped with a manufacturer and a heat number so it can be traced back to mill inspections reports etc ( Quality Control data) .
Looks like Tim is auditioning for the State Highway Department. He has the "lean on the shovel" down pat and to top it off, he can lean and use his cell phone. Obvious Supervisory material !!! That's one piece of defective pipe to rot out like that, especially when the one further into the hill looks brand new.
It's funny, I've started judging all jobs by your standards and none of them measure up. lol Chris, you're the best.
Must've been cheap pipe, looks like you could well end up digging the whole field up if the rest of it's as bad.
13:23 Am i the only one to notice his delicate hands? I mean controlling hundreds of horsepower takes a skill from the driver and Volvo. And his knowlegde what to do is never fake. He tells us first and proof him right later with no break or cheat in the video. I know he can fuck up and edit out but it happens every day that he does that trick. By the way Chris: You are good with the mini but a surgeon with the Volvos :-)
Is that the same site you clear snow with the skidsteer?
The only “heavy equipment” i have ever used is a 20+ year old terramite backhoe so its very strange to see how it scoops and lifts up the dirt like its nothing
God is trying to open people eyes but there not listening
You need to fetch Jpaydirt and a pan scraper to knock the top 10 feet from over the pipe. the environment could certainly benefit from a pond cleaning!
I love what you do is there anyway that you can move your camera to the front windshield area because the bottom part of your windshield is kind a like blocking what you’re digging and can’t see otherwise you’re awesome
Id really love to keep watching but the over the shoulder camera view from inside the cab actually made me motionsick :-( If u were to mount your camera on a stationary tripod it would be a much more gentle viewing:-)
This is why in the UK we use copy concrete pipes
@Frosty Mug61 , that's does not sound good at all.
In least in the area in the states that I live in, the steel mills started complaining that everyone was using concrete pipe, so a lot of state and local governments made everyone switch to steel.
That retention pond needs a lot of work, almost full of mud. Higher powers being the EPA will probably have the whole pond dredged.
Nice job. Y'all just stay safe. That's one of my biggest fears is getting caved in or even having to dig a man out
It's not from salt the car parks in winter . And at the entry to Rushworth cause of the oxygen.
When you’re through with it it’s gonna look good👍
How to find a sinkhole .... drive a JCB over it 🙄
Why bother getting a camera down there? They’ve already had two cave-ins, were they hoping just to replace a few feet and call it good for the next 20 years?
